Applications Programmer
H.B. Fenn and Company Ltd, a Book Publisher and Distributor, seeks to fill the position of Applications Programmer our I.S Department. The qualified applicant will possess the following:- A good working Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Based Products, including Windows 2003 and Windows XP, Microsoft Office Professional and a working Knowledge of DOS.
- Proficient in Microsoft Visual Basic .NET
- Minimum 2 years experience in IT/programming.
We are looking for an individual with a creative approach to problem solving who appreciates a challenge. There are several back-end and front-end applications in use in our business which need maintenance and renewal. There is also the need to generate new applications to solve problems.The qualified applicant will also be involved in documentation and testing of in-house software and should be comfortable dealing with staff.
